Acara Solutions seeks an Advanced Software Engineer for Linux Driver Development in Crypto and Cross-Domain Solutions for our client in Scottsdale, AZ.
- As a software engineer for the Crypto and Cross Domain Solutions, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for designing and developing next-generation cryptographic solutions.
- Design and develop Linux kernel drivers for embedded cryptographic and cross-domain systems.
- Contribute to a cross-functional engineering team delivering high-performance solutions.
- Apply technical standards and methodologies to solve complex challenges.
- Participate in secure development practices aligned with classified program requirements.
- Support continuous improvement and innovation across the engineering lifecycle.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing Linux Kernel Drivers for embedded systems.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Ability to lead the software development process.
- Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways.
- Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success.
- Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
- Experience with Petalinux/Xilinx SoC (Zynq Ultrascale /Versal).
- Experience with Linux Networking/Routing.
- Capable of proposing high-quality and high-performing solutions with minimal input.
- Skilled in kernel driver debugging techniques needed.
- Experience with Docker and podman on Linux.
- Experience with Windriver Linux.
