VP, Placement

• Negotiate carrier terms, pricing, and conditions to secure optimal client outcomes
• Design innovative program structures, coverages, and enhancements tailored to client needs
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with carriers, serving as primary liaison for program development and performance
• Monitor carrier appetite, capacity, and financial stability to guide placement strategies
• Partner with producers and account teams on new business marketing, submissions, proposals, and coverage summaries
• Provide market insights, benchmarking, and recommendations during client strategy sessions
• Develop marketing and risk management materials while ensuring compliance with policies, carrier standards, and regulations
• Represent the agency at industry associations and perform additional projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field)
• 7 years of insurance brokerage, underwriting, or placement experience, with deep carrier knowledge
• Proven track record of successful carrier negotiations and complex program placements
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
• Strategic thinker with ability to balance client advocacy and market realities

This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.

Salary range is $175K to 215K per year.
