Health Insurance Agent

• Present and explain health, supplemental, dental, and vision insurance options to prospective clients, tailoring recommendations for optimal enrollment outcomes.
• Proactively contact potential clients through call lists, missed calls, and service messages, providing information on insurance products and enrollment opportunities.
• Develop customized insurance quotes and packages, educating clients on subsidies, deductibles, co-payments, and out-of-pocket maximums.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the CRM and Covered California website, ensuring compliance with documentation requirements.
• Prioritize enrollments while balancing client service needs, directing clients to external resources when necessary, and resolving inquiries with a positive approach.
• Advocate for clients by addressing customer service issues impacting coverage access, both in person and over the phone.
• Meet or exceed sales goals set by management while contributing to office-wide customer service satisfaction and business growth.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including office upkeep, safeguarding client information, and adhering to compliance regulations for licensing and certifications.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a positive work environment, contribute ideas for marketing initiatives, and refer Medicare prospects to the appropriate specialists.
• Maintain reliable attendance, seek professional development opportunities, and communicate proactively with management while being receptive to feedback and coaching.

• High school graduate or higher.
• 1 year of experience in a sales or customer service environment.
• In-depth knowledge of the different types of insurance plans.
• Self-driven and proactive to meet and exceed sales goals and expectations.
• Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in computers and programs such as Google Workspace.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail.

Salary is $20 per hour plus commission.
