Commercial Insurance Account Assistant

• Respond promptly and professionally to requests from Account Managers, Account Executives, and clients, ensuring efficient communication and high service standards.

• Follow all agency systems, procedures, and timelines for tasks such as setting up marketing files, maintaining client data, and managing suspense items.

• Perform rating functions on carrier websites and process policies, endorsements, and requests in accordance with agency protocols and timelines.

• Prepare and issue insurance documents including certificates, applications, ID cards, and client correspondence using agency-approved formats and procedures.

• Maintain accurate electronic and physical client records, ensuring proper scanning, photocopying, and file organization.

• Collaborate with clients and insurance carriers to gather information or resolve service needs; handle special projects as assigned by supervisors.

• Attend agency meetings and trainings regularly, pursue CISR designation through coursework, and adhere to attendance policies while demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.

• High school diploma
• Professional appearance
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Minimum of one year prior experience as an assistant in a retail insurance agency
• Completion of relevant insurance education (i.e. – CISR, INS 21, etc.)
• Fire & Casualty license

Salary range is $60K to 85K per year.

Salary : $60,000 - $85,000
