We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Support Specialist to be part of the operational backbone to our Life & Health department. This role is perfect for someone who loves managing the "moving parts" of insurance with the ability to present and sell to clients without the pressure of meeting sales goals. You’ll be a primary advocate for clients, ensuring their applications move smoothly through underwriting and assisting them through the complexities of the claims process.

We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Support Specialist to be part of the operational backbone to our Life & Health department. You’ll be a primary advocate for clients, ensuring their applications move smoothly through underwriting and assisting them through the complexities of the claims process.
What You’ll Be Doing -
- Application Management - You’ll coordinate the submission of life and health applications, proactively following up on underwriting requirements like medical records (APS) to ensure policies are issued on time.
- Client Care & Servicing - You’ll be a go-to person for our current policyholders and "orphan" accounts, helping them with plan changes, renewals, and enrollments to make sure they stay covered and satisfied.
- Agency Operations - You’ll help keep our team running by vetting incoming calls, setting agent appointments, and delegating leads from various sources to the right team members.
- Agent Support - You'll provide direct administrative help to our agents, from fulfilling specific requests to ordering supplies and prepping materials for their meetings and seminars.
- Associate degree preferred with 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Insurance agency and sales support experience strongly preferred, including familiarity with basic insurance forms, terminology, and customer service practices
- Must hold a WI Life, Health & Accident license along with required carrier‑specific and Marketplace certifications, or be willing to obtain
- Proficient in Word, Excel, AgencyBloc, Outlook, Canva, and internet navigation
