What you’ll do
- Program and set up CNC lathes and mills
- Load, align, and operate machinery according to work orders
- Install and adjust chucks, tools, and attachments
- Prepare tooling for upcoming work; execute machine changeovers
- Interpret dimensions and tolerances from prints
- Accurately use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, CMM, and gauges
- Maintain specifications through observation and measurement
- Produce consistent, accurate parts
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Perform roadwork/installation at customer sites when assigned by management
- Handle additional assignments as needed by management
- Attend required meetings at the designated location

Education
- Two‑year Machine Tool technical degree
- Comparable industry experience considered
PPE
- Always: Steel‑toe footwear; eye protection; hearing protection in required areas (and occasionally in recommended areas)
- Occasionally: Hand protection; face protection
Physical & performance expectations
- Regularly stand and work between waist and shoulder height
- Occasionally walk, bend, twist/pivot (neck/waist), and reach
- Occasionally lift/move up to 70 lbs
- Very seldom: squat/kneel/crawl, climb stairs/ladders, work overhead, or from floor to waist
- Frequently use lathes, read blueprints, and operate precision tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measure, CMM, gauges)
- Occasional use of hand tools
Work environment
- Typical indoor shop setting; outdoor work is rare
