The Regional Director is responsible for the performance and strategic direction of Alera Group Offices within a defined geography. This leader oversees the region's short and long-term goals asd is accountable for driving revenue growth, profitability, and a performance-based culture through effective leadership, operational excellence, and collaboration across teams.

This job can be performed in the office, remotely, or a combination of both.

Responsibilities
- Identifies and executes on opportunities within the market to collaborate between offices on sales, service and operations. Accountable for the financial performance of the geography, including P&L responsibility. Drives change through the market and region with thoughtful and effective leadership, organizational change and communication strategies
- Fosters connections by connecting people who can help each other solve problems and create opportunities for our clients and each other. Manages workflows and adopts operational models that increase efficiency within offices across the region. Manages Alera Group priorities and help facilitate at the office level.
- Supports and deploys Alera Group shared services, including Practice Leader initiatives, Finance/Accounting, Technology (systems, applications, data), Human Resources, Legal, and Marketing
- Leads Office Leader roundtable discussions and partners with Regional Leadership team members to share ideas, improve consistency of services, offerings, and plan for emerging trends. Works with other Regional Directors and Managing Directors across Alera Group on best practices..
- Prospects acquisition targets in conjunction with the M&A Team. Along with Regional staff, responsible for the post-close integration of newly acquired offices within the market.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related disciplines such as finance, marketing, operations, accounting
- 10-15 years of management experience with a proven track record of leadership and strategic planning skills
- Graduate degree or MBA is not required but would be helpful
- Professional certifications within the employee benefit, property and casualty, wealth management, and/or human resources field as needed for specific offices or functions
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
