Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to client and account executive/producer requests
- Manage policy files, endorsements, invoicing discrepancies, and maintain computer records per procedure
- Collect and analyze data on assigned accounts, identifying cross-selling opportunities and market trends
- Review and market insurance applications, making recommendations and negotiating coverage and premiums with carriers
- Prepare clear quotations, coverage summaries, proposals, and recommendations for clients and prospects
- Participate in agency training, meetings, and adhere to attendance policies
- Pursue and complete CIC courses aiming to obtain the CIC designation within a reasonable timeframe
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Professional appearance
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Excellent people skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Minimum of two years prior experience as an assistant account manager or account manager in a retail insurance setting
- Completion of CISR designation or INS insurance courses
- Score 80% or more on agency’s account manager commercial lines test
- Fire & Casualty license

Salary range is $65K to $85K per year.
