Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design and build relational and dimensional data models using the Kimball methodology, including hierarchies.
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets with advanced DAX and Tabular models.
• Create and manage data pipelines in Azure to move data from Data Lakes to Azure Synapse.
• Write and optimize T-SQL queries for ETL processes and reporting.
• Use SSIS for data extraction and integration into the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into BI solutions.
• Optimize BI solutions for performance and scalability.
• Maintain documentation of data models, ETL processes, and reporting structures.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in data modeling and BI development using Kimball methodology.
• 4 years of hands-on experience with Power BI and DAX.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services (Synapse, Data Lake) and data pipelines.
• 5 years of experience with T-SQL and SSIS for ETL processes.
• Ability to design Tabular models in Power BI Premium.
• Experience working with an Enterprise Data Warehouse.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred

• Familiarity with Data Bricks or other big data tools.
