Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices for cloud-based applications using Kubernetes and Cloud Foundry
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using AngularJS, Ext JS, jQuery, and AJAX
- Optimize database queries and work with Hibernate, Oracle, and other persistence frameworks to ensure efficient data access
- Write clean, maintainable code following best practices for object-oriented design and secure coding
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including planning, development, testing, and deployment
- Contribute to DevOps pipelines using tools like Docker, Maven, Gradle, Git Actions, and JUnit
- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability through monitoring tools like New Relic, ElasticSearch, Logstash, and Kibana
- Work in Agile environments (Scrum) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines and implement DevOps best practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience/training
- 7 years of professional experience in software development, particularly in designing and implementing large-scale applications
- Proven expertise in:
- Core Java, Spring Boot, J2EE (JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDBC)
- REST/SOAP services
- Cloud environments (e.g., Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes)
- Database technologies and ORM (e.g., Hibernate, Oracle)
- Frontend frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, Ext JS)
- DevOps and build tools (e.g., Docker, Maven, Gradle, Git Actions)
- Linux/Unix shell scripting
