Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the perfect shoes to match their style, needs, and budget
- Conduct engaging product demos to showcase new styles, features, and benefits of footwear options
- Provide excellent customer service by listening carefully to customer preferences and offering personalized recommendations
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems for smooth transactions, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Upsell additional products such as socks, insoles, or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shoes are stocked neatly on shelves for easy browsing
- Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and supporting product replenishment efforts
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in footwear or fashion
- Supervising experience is a plus; capable of guiding team members when needed
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual settings if applicable
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions
- Excellent phone etiquette for responding to customer inquiries professionally over the phone
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for sales transactions and inventory counts
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers
