Sales & Service Specialist

Job Summary/Objective

At Michel Sales Agency, we strive for excellent customer service in the field and the Sales and Service Specialist is the key component to us achieving our company goals. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced technical Specialist who will manage the field service duties by performing on-site routine services including installation, maintenance, and repairs.

Essential Functions

• Must have Hydronic and Plumbing experience
• Technical expertise in plumbing and heating industry required
• Troubleshooting on plumbing, electrical, hydronic equipment
• Contractor Calls & submittals
• Identifying winning contractor estimators and PM and ensuring a bid for MSA product was received.
• Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to complete assignments
• Inspect and troubleshoot systems, equipment, and structures to identify issues
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations while working on job sites
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Keep accurate records of work completed, including time logs and material usage
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients
• Ensure work meets quality standards and compliance with local codes and regulations
• Presenting on all Michel Sales products to contractors
• Attending Product training and obtaining certifications required to do so, i.e Train the trainer certification.
• Communicating with contractors about potential solutions and equipment start-ups.
• Scheduling trouble calls and start-ups.
• Interface with factory partners to find and solve field issues.
• Keep and maintain equipment records, recalls, start-up documentation.
• Maintain and keep current knowledge of MSA products warranty policies.
• Influence and train Contractors on Michel Sales products to influence them to purchase by providing pre and post-sale service.
• Hosting trade events and supporting sales activities, i.e., dinners, trade shows.
• Planning and speaking at contractor lunch and learns and trade events.
• Responding to factory requests for support and assistance

Working Environment

• Frequent travel with some overnight travel required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
