Stockroom Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Stockroom Associate to join our team. This role involves managing inventory, organizing stock, and supporting backroom operations to ensure efficient product flow. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, experience in warehouse or retail environments, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting. Bilingual abilities and familiarity with inventory management tools are highly valued to enhance communication and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory control through accurate tracking and documentation of stock levels
• Operate scanners and other inventory management systems to record incoming and outgoing products
• Load and unload shipments
• Stock shelves, produce areas, and storage spaces with merchandise or supplies
• Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom to promote safety and efficiency
• Support packaging, merchandising, and retail sales activities as needed
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting store staff or clients with product location or inquiries

Experience

• Experience in retail sales, stocking, shipping & receiving, or grocery store environments is advantageous
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish-English) are a plus for effective team collaboration and customer interaction
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout the warehouse space
• Knowledge of retail math, merchandising, cleaning, cashiering, and general maintenance is beneficial

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
