Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, managing inventory, and maintaining store presentation.
Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges.
- Demonstrate products through engaging product demos to enhance customer understanding and drive sales.
- Assist in merchandising efforts by arranging displays and ensuring products are stocked and organized on shelves.
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom areas.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels, customer feedback, and store operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
- Familiarity with cashiering processes and retail math concepts.
- Experience with stocking merchandise and maintaining store presentation standards.

- Knowledge of grocery store operations is a plus but not mandatory.
