Role Description
This is a Litigation Associate role based in Denver, CO. The Litigation Associate will handle all aspects of a case — legal research, drafting motions and briefs, preparing for and taking depositions, and presenting cases in court — while collaborating closely with our partners and senior attorneys. Our associates get substantive responsibility early, including meaningful client contact and courtroom experience, with the support and mentorship to grow into it.
Compensation
The salary for this position will depend upon years of experience, amount of experience in the firm’s primary practice areas, and anticipated number of billable hours per year. The salary may be in the range of $120,000 to $150,000 at a requisite 1000 to1200 billable hours per year with a 401K match and bonus opportunity available immediately.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Colorado
- Minimum of three years practicing law
- Solid grounding in the litigation process, including motions practice, depositions, and court proceedings
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Effective communicator who works well with colleagues and clients
- Interest or experience in real estate litigation, eminent domain, or land use law is a strong plus
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
