Elementary Special Education Teacher (Language Based Classroom)

Alden Elementary School is seeking a highly qualified, certified Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year for our language-based classroom.

Requirements:

 - Current certification from Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education with SEI Endorsement: Teachers of Students with Moderate Disabilities (Prk-8)

 - Bachelor's Degree or higher from accredited college or university

 - Experience with IEP development and data collection

 - Management skills that support students social emotional learning

 -Instruction and classroom management skills that support students' access to the general education curriculum content by providing specially designed instruction 

 -Collaboration with general education teachers to deliver universally designed instruction to all learners 

- Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners in an elementary setting

- Experience in the adaptation and modification of curriculum and assessments 

- Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks across varied subjects 

- Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Salary : $58,182 - $95,956
