About the Role
We are a construction contractor specializing in storm drain and underground work, looking for a dependable and organized office administrator to support accounting and day-to-day operations.
This position plays a key role in keeping the office running smoothly while coordinating with field crews, vendors, and management.
Responsibilities
- Answer and manage incoming calls
- Process vendor invoices and manage Accounts Payable
- Prepare checks and reconcile vendor statements
- Assist with payroll processing
- Maintain organized job and accounting records
- Act as liaison between office and field crews
- Handle construction paperwork (preliminary notices, lien releases, etc.)
- Assist with project coordination and estimating support
Qualifications
- Experience with QuickBooks (AP, payroll, reconciliations)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Construction office experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with preliminary notices, lien releases, and job billing is a plus
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
- $25β$35/hour depending on experience
