Senior Tax Manager

Alchemy has an amazing opportunity for an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join an international accounting firm in Birmingham, AL.

Responsibilities:

• Point of contact for clients on international and domestic tax matters
• Create federal and state tax returns for individuals and companies
• Perform a range of tax consulting tasks
• Conduct technical tax research on all areas relating to federal, state, and international taxes
• Create clear & understandable work documents and communications
• Deliver on-time, high-quality services and products that surpass clients' expectations
• Manage expectations and guarantee consumer pleasure, keep up active contact

Skills:

• 6-8 years of tax experience gained at a public accounting firm
• Tax experience and knowledge should include a broad area including federal and state income tax, international and corporate
• A degree in accounting or a master’s in accounting or taxation
• CPA license already achieved or want to obtain CPA license
• Ability to train, mentor and coach team members
• Process-oriented and well-versed in analysis and problem-solving
• Strong writing, research, and interpersonal abilities
• Some international travel may be required
