Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including cars, trucks, and heavy machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics.
- Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC systems, and more.
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, and forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for fabrication and repair tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and farm machinery is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques.
- Experience with diesel engine repair, air brake systems, alignment procedures, shocks & struts replacement.
- Ability to read schematics and perform electrical repairs as necessary.
- Knowledge of tire service procedures and assembly techniques for various machinery.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
