Main responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Train, schedule, and supervise deli employees to maintain proper staffing.
• Plan daily production, manage inventory, and order supplies as needed.
• Prepare and display hot and cold deli foods, seasonal trays, and specialty items.
• Operate deli equipment (slicers, scales, cash register) safely and accurately.
• Monitor food safety, sanitation, and temperature checks per regulations.
• Resolve customer issues and promote deli products through sampling and upselling.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and reporting procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, including grooming and uniform standards.
• Analyze sales reports and make quality decisions to meet department goals

• Deli products, pricing, and department layout
• Food safety and sanitation regulations
• Inventory control and ordering processes
• Basic math and cash handling procedures

Abilities:

• Read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Analyze reports and implement corrective actions
• Operate deli equipment and perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs.)
• Work varied shifts in a 24-hour operation
