WEBB is currently seeking Public Works Construction Inspectors for part-time and/or full-time on-call project-based positions. Candidates must have a minimum of ten years of experience inspecting the construction of roads, traffic signals, water, sewer, and storm drain facilities. The position requires familiarity with a broad spectrum of general civil construction activities, materials, methods, and processes.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and document construction processes; prepare daily inspection reports with the use of an iPad
- Read, interpret, and enforce construction drawings and specifications
- Worksites in the Inland Southern California and Coachella Valley areas
- Identify construction issues, communicate clearly (written and verbal) with the project team, and prepare accurate as-built drawings
- High School Diploma or equivalent, technical school or college degree preferred
- Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook), and iPad
- Desired Certifications:
- Cal/OSHA Trenching and Excavation
- Cal/OSHA Confined Space
- Traffic Control and Flagger
- ACI Concrete
- APWA Public Infrastructure Inspector
- ICC Reinforced Concrete
- Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP)
