Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage multiple water resources-related projects.
- Demonstrate expertise in the planning and design of water, wastewater, stormwater, and drainage infrastructure projects.
- Effectively communicate with public agencies, regulatory bodies, and clients.
- Adhere to firm-wide policies and procedures related to human resources management, project management, financial management, client relations, quality assurance and control, and business development.
- Research, analyze, and present technical performance data and project measures related to water resources systems.
- Manage multiple projects with strict adherence to budgets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit attention to detail with excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Maintain a proven track record of meeting or exceeding annual personal performance goals (i.e., leads by example).
- Demonstrate successful staff integration and team building at multiple levels of management.
- Maintain registration as an engineer in the state of California.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Excellent technical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently on several concurrent projects and participate in the entire design process.
- Ability to supervise multiple employees and projects, and work in a team environment.
- Good working knowledge of public agency standards, regulatory requirements, and guidelines related to water resources.
- Good understanding and working knowledge of all plans, reports, and studies required for water resources projects.
- Technically proficient in all aspects of water resources engineering design.
