This position is on-site and located in Silver Peak, NV. The role will have split responsibilities in both an office setting and in the manufacturing plant. What You Will Do * Monitor process and equipment conditions and troubleshoot upsets. * Help optimize process to maximize OEE * Provide technical reports to Production Supervisor * Define, measure, and maintain KPI's * Coordinate maintenance activities and schedule * Develop and lead operator training sessions * Assist other departments (engineering, safety, maintenance, etc.) as directed * Write energy isolation plans for LOTO * Uphold all applicable safety standards * Developing and execute small to moderate scale continuous improvement projects. * Provide coverage for operators on a limited frequency * Lead incident investigations * Participate in Emergency Response Team and meet associated physical requirements. * Able to lift 50 lbs, walk, climb stairs, use hands, sight, touch, hear, speak, smell, climb ladders, and balance on uneven ground * Other duties as assigned. What You Bring Required: * High school diploma or equivalent * 5 years' experience in a manufacturing plant. Combination of experience and education may be accepted. * Knowledge of hazardous materials and general PSM * Able to troubleshoot chemical process equipment and systems. * Experience with Microsoft Office. * Ability to read P&ID’s and other technical drawings to locate equipment in the field * Able to support business needs outside of normal business hours on occasions. * Ability to work in a team environment Preferred: * Associates or Bachelors degree. * Experience in a chemical plant, specifically operations, maintenance, engineering, or safety. * Experience with SAP and other computer proficiencies. * Leadership experience #LI-CJ1 Benefits of Joining Albemarle * Competitive compensation * Comprehensive benefits package * A diverse array of resources to support you professionally and personally.
