Title: Nilpeter - Production Technician- Flexo Printing Mechanic
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Department: Operations
Supervises: None
Organizational Relationships: Works with Supervisors and reactive maintenance personnel.
Basic Function: We are looking for a skilled Flexo Press Operator to set up, operate, and maintain flexographic printing presses. Responsibilities include ensuring print quality, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and preparing materials and inks. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Make running adjustments to attain good quality while maintaining specifications and maximum production.
- Perform set ups and change overs.
- Install printing plates, blankets and rolls.
- Clean, adjust and maintain ink in fountains.
- Load rollstock, thread stock.
- Responsible for inspection of product and detection of trouble.
- Handle rollstock.
- Operate industrial truck as designated.
- Log production information on required forms/line computer and label finished product as necessary.
- Perform specified quality checks and proofread web-stock.
- Perform special assignments as required.
- Keep area and equipment clean.
- Set up and operate flexo press.
- Monitor print quality and make adjustments.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
- Prepare materials and inks.
- Other job duties as assigned

Qualifications:
1. Experience with flexographic printing preferred.
2. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
3. High School diploma or GED required or relevant proven experience.
4. Knowledge of machinery and assembly line functions and operation of same.
5. Capable of reading, interpreting and comprehending technical training manuals, blue prints and specifications.
6. Display excellent mechanical ability.
Pay: $24.36 - $35.00 per hour
