About the Role
This is an exciting growth opportunity for a Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Albany Medical Center. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day management of clinical operations within our department.
In this role, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Medical Assistants, LPNs, and RNs, and supporting case management for high-level care patients. Effective collaboration with the lead Physician and Practice Coordinator is essential for successful management of the office.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise patient flow through the clinic and point-of-care testing
- Improve processes and procedures to optimize clinic workflow and capture charges
- Develop and motivate staff to work effectively and within their licensure
- Maintain a strong, collaborative relationship with the Practice Coordinator
- Ensure confidentiality of all patient and staff-related concerns
Qualifications:
- National certification as a Nurse Supervisor is preferred
- At least 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role
