Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Router Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a router to cut wood parts for applications in furniture manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Set up CNC router machines to cut parts into straight-cut dimensions and pattern cuts.
- Follows patterns with non-stop cutting of CNC router blade.
- Reads instruction and production sheets to complete daily production goals.
- Responsible for routine maintenance and upkeep of the router.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with CNC machinery and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Follow safety standards in production environments, ensuring proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, machine settings, and quality inspections for documentation purposes.
- Performs other duties as required by supervisor.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC routers, milling machines, lathes, or similar equipment within a manufacturing or factory setting.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
