Women's Health Center Attendent

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Women's Health Center Attendant to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of a specialized area within the facility. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Specialized Cleaning Tasks:

Perform deep cleaning and sanitization of locker rooms, other designated spaces.

Utilize specialized cleaning products and equipment to ensure thorough cleanliness and hygiene.

Routine Maintenance:

Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to identify and address cleanliness issues.

Ensure proper replenishment of supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor immediately.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Assist in training new housekeeping staff on specialized cleaning procedures.

Customer Service:

Interact with YMCA members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.

Address any member concerns or requests related to facility cleanliness promptly and courteously.

Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience, preferably in a similar environment.

Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and best practices.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a fitness or recreational facility.

Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.

Capability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks.

Strength to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 50 pounds.

This position is scheduled Monday–Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with shifts every other Saturday. The role offers approximately 12–17 hours per week at a rate of $8.25 per hour.
