Infrastructure & AV Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the technology infrastructure buildout for a new office location in the Somerville, MA area. This individual will be responsible for coordinating network and infrastructure deployments, managing multiple vendors, and overseeing the implementation of audio-visual (AV) systems to ensure the new office is fully operational and aligned with business requirements.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing office buildouts, coordinating technology vendors, and driving infrastructure projects from planning through implementation and completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the IT network and infrastructure buildout for a new office facility in Somerville, MA.
- Coordinate the deployment of network infrastructure, including structured cabling, connectivity, wireless networks, and related technology components.
- Manage multiple third-party vendors supporting network, infrastructure, telecommunications, and AV installations.
- Coordinate project schedules, deliverables, dependencies, and vendor activities to ensure timely completion.
- Oversee AV requirements and installations, including conference room technology, video conferencing, and collaboration systems.
- Partner with internal IT teams, facilities, construction teams, and business stakeholders to ensure technology requirements are incorporated into the office buildout.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks or issues, and proactively drive resolution.
- Coordinate testing, validation, and readiness activities prior to office occupancy.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and leadership
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and network buildouts for new office locations or commercial facilities.
- Experience coordinating multiple technology vendors across network, infrastructure, cabling, and AV disciplines.
- Strong project management skills, including scheduling, resource coordination, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.
- Understanding of enterprise network infrastructure, connectivity, and office technology requirements.
- Experience managing projects involving facilities, construction, and IT teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and vendor management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
Salary : $70 - $80
