The Shipping Technician position is essential to warehouse operations. Shipping Technicians accurately pick, load, and complete the shipping function for both finished goods and raw materials for transfer orders. - Systematically and accurately picks, loads, and ships finished goods and raw material supplies to internal and external customers and partners.
- Returns all finished goods, raw material, and packaging materials to proper locations upon completion of order pick process systematically and accurately.
- Accurately uploads and completes all NetSuite and system information regarding order picking, shipping notes, packing lists and tracking logs upon completion of the order.
- Works under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure accurate storage of finished goods, raw materials, and packaging materials in the warehouse.
- Performs physical Inventory of assigned areas when directed.
- Meets daily/weekly/monthly production KPI’s and warehouse objectives.
- Comply with all Quality, HAACP, GMP and Food Safety Standards
- Escalate Safety, Quality, and Productivity issues immediately to supervisors.
- Maintains and is responsible for the maintenance and safe return of all equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
- Basic computer skills to operate computer automated equipment.
- Must have basic math skills (with use of a calculator)
- Must be able to read and interpret weight scales and tape measures.
- Must be able to lift up-to 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds on occasion.
- Must be able to stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift with applicable breaks.
- RF Scanner and/or previous ERP system experience is a plus.
- Must have a High School Diploma or a G.E.D.
