The preventative maintenance technician is an essential and key position in ensuring that all production equipment is performing to optimal production standards and requirements. They will communicate and perform routine preventative tasks and make recommendations as needed to enhance the Preventative Maintenance Program.

- Maintain a clean working environment
- Communicate with supervisor and lead on equipment status daily.
- Check in and out tools, and equipment used on a PM
- Work in a safe and effective manner.
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and storage areas to comply with safety and GMP practices.
- Create workorders in the CMMS when required.
- Evaluate and recommend repairs from a PM.
- Remove and replace worn components in an effective manner.
- Ensure that equipment is running to OEM specs to support production requirements.
- Must comply with all company Quality, HACCP, GMP, and Food Safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be detailed oriented.
- Good knowledge of tools and equipment use and storage.
- Able to select and log inventory parts required to perform PM.
- Good working knowledge of computers and I-pads.
- Must be able to lift up-to 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds on occasion.
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
- Must be able to stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift with applicable breaks.
- Regular and timely attendance
- Must have a High School Diploma or a G.E.D.
