Job Description
Alay Home Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving independence and improving their quality of life. As a DSP, you will provide hands-on assistance, emotional support, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Support clients in community integration and social activities
Administer medication (if certified)
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
Implement individualized care plans
Ensure a safe and supportive environment
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or DSP role preferred
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
