Job Responsibilities:
- Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices related to creditors' rights and foreclosure.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards.
- Conduct internal audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of case files and documentation.
- Conduct thorough legal research related to foreclosure laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Assist attorneys in drafting and preparing legal documents such as complaints, motions, and briefs.
- Review and analyze foreclosure documents, contracts, and financial records.
- 3 years previous experience as a paralegal, preferably in the area of creditors' rights and foreclosure Required.
- Proficiency in understanding of foreclosure laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Proficiency in conducting legal research using various resources and platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and case management.
- Proficiency in using legal software and case management systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information in a professional manner.
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification from an accredited institution preferred
