Summary

Under general direction of the President and Chief Executive Officer, this position plans and oversees implementation and ongoing administration of the office of the President and the CEO, the COB including the reception and supervises the Executive Administrative staff .

Responsibilities

Provides leadership, direction, and guidance in policies and procedures to assigned staff. Sets goals and priorities and assigns tasks and projects accordingly. D evelops training plans and ensures employees have necessary skills to perform duties. C ounsels, trains and coaches staff and implements corrective actions and conducts performance evaluations.

M onitors and ensures accuracy of documentation and records for department such as travel/expense reports, check requests, company credit cards, purchase requests, and personnel action documents.

A ssures departmental alignment with corporate compliance. F unctions as department liaison for activities and initiatives with other divisions and departments.

I ndependently maintains department budget, investigating and documenting variances. Keeps records up to date and reports as required to Finance and own department leaders.

E stablishes and maintains effective working relations with stakeholders, partners and leadership groups and committees, if applicable, to facilitate the implementation of projects and or initiatives.

O versees, represents and manages all aspects of the office of the President and CEO and coordinates with team.

  • K nowledge of multi-line telephone systems operation.
  • K nowledge of privacy laws and regulations.
  • K nowledge of basic purchasing processes.
  • S kill in operating office equipment.
  • S kill in effectively managing staff, and delegating tasks and authority.
  • S kill in oral and written communication.
  • S kill in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands.
  • S kill in maintaining and updating office and administrator schedules.
  • S kill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with others.
  • S kill in operating a personal computer utilizing a variety of software applications.

MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

B achelor's degree in business or a related field. Progressively responsible professional work-related experience, education, or training may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for college education.

mInimum Experience Qualification

Non-supervisory – Four (4) years of experience supporting senior management or executive experience with responsibilities for administrative support to a C suite executive or experience supervising staff or project management.

T O INCLUDE

Supervisory - One (1) year involving employee supervision.

Preferred Experience Qualification

P rofessional executive support experience in a tribal healthcare setting.

a Dditional Requirements

M ay be required to possess an Alaska driver's license with a clean driving record.
