Summary

Under general direction, oversees the day-to-day administration of ANTHC's benefit programs. This includes primary responsibility for the administration of all leave policies and procedures, answers employee benefit questions, and conducts compliance audits. Serves as the primary contact for benefit related employee questions, and coordinates internally with teams for employee questions related to those areas of expertise. Assists with the administration of the annual benefit open enrollment process and maintains primary responsibility for ad-hoc education materials and presentations throughout the year.

Responsibilities

Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations.

E nsure accurate and timely processing of benefits-related documentation

M aintain up-to-date employee records and benefits databases.

R espond to employee inquiries regarding benefits plans, eligibility, and claims.

E scalate complex issues to senior team members or vendors as needed.

S upport new hire orientation by providing benefits-related information.

E nsure compliance with ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and other federal and state regulations.

A ssist with preparing reports and tracking required documentation for audits and compliance reviews.

S upport Open Enrollment activities, including employee communications and data entry.

A ssist in creating benefits education materials to improve employee understanding of available plans.

I dentify opportunities to enhance benefits processes and improve efficiency.

P erforms other duties as assigned.

B enefits Administrator II

A dminister benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.

P rocess employee benefits enrollments, status changes, and terminations.

E nsure accurate and timely benefits processing in coordination with payroll and HRIS systems.

S erve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits questions, providing clear guidance on eligibility, plan options, and claims resolution.

A ddress and resolve benefits-related issues, escalating complex cases as needed.

C onduct employee education sessions on benefits offerings and assist with new hire benefits onboarding.

S upport benefits audits and ensure all benefits data is accurately documented and reported.

M aintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and recommend adjustments to ensure compliance.

P artner with benefits providers, brokers, and third-party administrators to resolve employee issues and maintain service quality.

S upport vendor management activities, including contract renewals and performance evaluations.

I dentify opportunities to streamline benefits administration processes for increased efficiency and accuracy.

A ssist with the planning and execution of annual benefits open enrollment.

M INIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

B enefits Administrator II

A Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related field. Experience may be substituted for education on the following basis: one year of relevant, full-time professional experience is equivalent to one year of college education.

Non-supervisory - Three (3) years of experience working with employee benefits programs.

P REFERRED CERTIFICATION QUALIFICATION

C ertified Employee Benefits Specials (CEBS), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
