You will handle transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
- Operate cash registers and process transactions using POS systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with accuracy.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions and upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is organized and displayed attractively.
- Assist in supervising junior staff members when necessary.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
- Strong phone etiquette with excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to upsell products effectively to maximize sales opportunities.
- Experience in supervising or training staff is beneficial but not required.
