Your Responsibilities:
- Own and execute banner-level pricing strategy in alignment with business objectives and leadership direction
- Lead competitive pricing reviews and ensure timely market responses that support revenue and margin goals
- Serve as the primary pricing subject matter expert, providing best advice and recommendations to merchandising leadership
- Guide and support Category Managers and Pricing Analysts to ensure category pricing strategies align with overall banner pricing direction
- Act as the primary point of contact for pricing-related changes, initiatives, and improvements within the banner
- Partner with merchandising leadership to review pricing performance, financial targets, and annual pricing plans
- Maintain pricing review calendars, governance processes, and pricing documentation
- Use strong financial analysis, data interpretation, and decision-making skills to identify pricing opportunities and risks
- Support key business outcomes including revenue growth, gross profit performance, and competitive price perception
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field required
- Previous experience in category management, pricing, or a related merchandising role required
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable pricing decisions
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical skills, particularly in Excel; experience with PowerQuery, Access, or SQL is considered an asset
- Proven ability to influence across functions and work effectively with senior leaders
- Excellent organizational, project management, and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive business information
- Based in Anchorage, AK, in a fast-paced, in-office head office environment
- Work is primarily computer-based, with extended periods of sitting or standing
- Regular collaboration with cross-functional teams and leadership across the organization
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
