Alaska Boiler & Burner provides maintenance, sales and service within the state of Alaska. We currently have an opening for an experienced Boiler Maintenance Technician on Fairchild Air Force Base.

Position Summary
The Boiler Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and installation of equipment related to commercial boiler systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to safety standards, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a professional environment.
Primary Responsibilities
· Perform maintenance and repair of commercial mechanical equipment, including boilers, burners, pumps, control valves, and associated heating systems.
· Install equipment and piping related to boiler and mechanical systems.
· Accurately collect operational data and interpret readings using gauges, meters, and diagnostic equipment.
· Troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs on steam and hydronic boiler systems
· Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
· Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation using company systems.
· Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and project personnel.
· Maintain company vehicles in a clean, safe, and professional condition.
· Maintain professional appearance at all times
· Adhere to all requirements, regulations, and standards associated with work performed on a U.S. Military installation.
Qualifications & Requirements
· Experience performing HVAC and boiler repairs in a commercial environment.
· Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting ability.
· Strong diagnostic and repair skills related to steam and hydronic boiler systems.
· Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on operational needs.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
· Ability to obtain and maintain access to a U.S. Military installation.
· Obtain and maintain a City of Spokane Boiler Operator License within one year of hire.

· Competitive starting hourly wage: $32.00 DOE

Schedule
· Rotating schedule from approximately October 15 through May 15. 4 days on, 4 days off.
· Weekday schedule from approximately May 15 through October 15
