What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Dispatcher position at Alarmco?
We here at Alarmco are looking for a select few individuals that want to be part of our diverse and growing team. In Alarmco Central Station we receive alarm notifications from residential, commercial and government accounts. Ranging from burglary alarms, fire alarms, medical signals. The kind of persons we are looking for should have excellent customer service skills, be good with data entry, can multitask, pays great attention to detail, is reliable, has a flexible schedule and can keep calm in a fast-working environment. IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be willing to learn and have a positive attitude.
- Availability and willingness to work flexible shifts.
- 1 year customer service experience is preferred.
- Type 25 WPM with high level of accuracy.
- Must be able to pass criminal background check.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Alarmco central station is a call center type environment where we receive alarm notifications for the many security systems and camera systems we monitor all over the country. We will make and receive phone calls to our customer and or authorities. Respond to and send emails. Help customers with basic troubleshooting of their alarm systems. Update access control systems, for example we add and remove door access key fobs for many of our customers.
