Overview: Low Voltage Alarm Technician/Installer
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Alarm Technician/Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of low-voltage alarm systems, including intrusion detection, fire alarms, access control, and CCTV systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Qualifications:
- Experience Matters: A minimum of 2 years of full-time experience as an installer or service technician in a service-related industry is preferred. However, we are open to training the right candidates.
- Technical Versatility: Proven expertise in the installation and servicing of fire alarms, security systems, CCTV, and access control systems across both commercial and residential environments.
- Tech-Savvy: Solid understanding of IP-based security systems, with experience in system programming and commissioning is essential.
- Licenses: Possess a valid Connecticut or New York low-voltage license (L6 or C6) and a valid driver's license.
- Availability: Willingness to participate in an emergency on-call rotation and travel to job sites as required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members.
