SUMMARY
The Machine Operator repackages various types of wire & cable products on repackaging lines as assigned. He/ she operates equipment in a cost-effective manner while maintaining a safe work place and ensuring product quality by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and areas of responsibility may be assigned as needed.
Safety – each operator is responsible for his/her personal safety and the safety of those around him/her.
Quality – each operator is responsible for the quality of the product produced on his / her equipment.
Production – each operator is responsible for meeting production goals in a cost effective manner.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
