What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior SME Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS) position at Alakaina Family of Companies?
The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for a Senior SME in Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS) to provide research support administration services for our government customer at Ft. Bragg, NC.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the SGM and Deputy for TT as the UAS/CUAS SME working in collaboration with government partners, academic laboratories, and private industry - to develop new tools and technology in support of the SOF UAS/CUAS
- Assist in the preparation and development of new requirements documentation to include Initial Capabilities Documents (ICD), Capabilities Development Documents (CDD), SPECAT messages, Basis of Issue Plans (BOIP), Test Plans, and update Project Folders
- Task include analyzing operational requirements for UAS payloads, deriving relevant technical requirements, designing, prototyping, building, and deployment and support of UAS/CUAS solutions on aggressive timelines in support of SOF
- Coordinates with the Project Manager and/or Quality Assurance Manager to ensure adequate design specifications and associated documentation and problem resolution for problem reports
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Must have a Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must have at least twelve (12) years of experience in project management, engineering science, CAD Programming, RF Theory, basic circuit design, additive manufacturing, and CNC Machining with a knowledge of UAS/CUAS techniques, tactics, & procedures in the SOF Community
- Must have a high level of technical and engineering experience and knowledge of all aspects of unmanned systems operations (with emphasis on non-standard and SOF assets)
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (Born or Naturalized)
- Must have Active TS/SCI Clearance
