DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates Request for Information (RFI) templates
- Develops, authors, and edits RFI content
- Assists in data call preparation/record keeping
- Sits in on Subject Matter Expert (SME) interviews—taking and cleaning notes
- Participate in the maintenance of a document library that includes historical proposal documents, corporate experience and accomplishments, tailored proposal and RFI content, etc.
- Maintains various trackers, spreadsheets, repositories of referenceable information
- Assists in research and identification of relevant content
- Assists in other duties related to the Business Development department
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Must be in sophomore or junior year of bachelor’s program in a writing discipline: creative writing, technical writing, English, or journalism
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), follow up, and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with a willingness to learn
- Strong MS Word skills
- Intermediate MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Ability to multitask a must
