Requirements

Research and Analysis

• Conduct thorough research to determine the current market value of various household items, including furniture, electronics, appliances, jewelry, and other personal property.
• Utilize online databases, pricing guides, industry publications, and other resources to gather accurate valuation data.
• Analyze market trends and historical sales data to provide well-supported valuations.

Claim Evaluation

• Review homeowners insurance claims to identify the items requiring valuation.
• Collaborate with claims adjusters to understand the specifics of each claim and ensure accurate valuation processes.
• Provide detailed reports and documentation to support valuation conclusions.

Customer Interaction

• Communicate with policyholders to gather additional information and clarify details about the items being valued.
• Explain valuation findings to policyholders in a clear and professional manner.
• Address any questions or concerns from policyholders regarding the valuation process.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of all research, data sources, and valuation calculations.

Continuous Improvement
