What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Discipleship Intern position at Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions?
Camp Baldwin is a Christian camp and retreat ministry of the Baldwin Baptist Association in Baldwin County, Alabama. We are located on beautiful Wolf Bay in Elberta, Alabama near Gulf Shores and Orange Beach white sandy beaches and tourist attractions. We are offering an opportunity for a student to gain practical ministerial experience including leading Bible studies, praying with summer staffers, and helping plan fellowship and worship opportunities while serving in all areas of camp ministry under the guidance of full-time staff.

Qualifications
- Must be spiritually mature and pursuing future opportunities in Christian ministry (student ministry, children’s ministry, pastor, etc.)
- Ability to minister and connect with camp volunteers and summer staffers ages 13-24
- Must be able to interact with camp staff, campers, and group leaders with Christ-like attitude
- Leadership role leading weekly Bible studies with summer staffers and volunteers
- Work with Camp Director and Assistant Director to help provide spiritual growth opportunities throughout the summer for staff, summer staff and volunteers.
- Participate in weekly worship services and Bible study with camp staff
- Serve in all areas of camp ministry including recreation, food services, housekeeping, etc. in a busy Christian summer camp environment
- Position includes $300/week salary, on campus housing, most meals, uniforms, training (Additional $25 per week for certified lifeguards that serve full summer)
- Typically one off day per week
- Camp Baldwin willing to work with colleges/seminaries to help students get internship credit
- All interns must attend summer staff training event May 22-24 at Camp Baldwin in Elberta, Alabama
