What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Communications Intern position at Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions?
Camp Baldwin is a Christian camp and retreat ministry of the Baldwin Baptist Association in Baldwin County, Alabama. We are located on beautiful Wolf Bay in Elberta, Alabama near Gulf Shores and Orange Beach white sandy beaches and tourist attractions. We are offering an opportunity for a student to gain practical experience as a communications leader and help lead summer staff in multiple areas under guidance of full-time staff.

Qualifications
- Must be spiritually mature and enjoy all aspects of communications including social media, photography, videography, etc.
- Must have knowledge of communication best practices and basic content creation skills
- Must be able to interact with camp staff, campers, and group leaders with Christ-like attitude
- Leadership role planning media opportunities to document and share camp experiences
- Work with Camp Director and Assistant Director to plan and execute social media campaigns
- Participate in weekly worship services and Bible study with camp staff
- Serve in all areas of camp ministry including recreation, food services, housekeeping, etc. in a busy Christian summer camp environment
- Assist camp leadership with planning recreational activities to help connect summer staffers
- Position includes $300/week salary, on campus housing, most meals, uniforms, training (Additional $25 per week for certified lifeguards that serve full summer)
- Typically one off day per week
- Live close to beaches and tourist destinations near Gulf Shores/Orange Beach, Alabama
- Camp Baldwin willing to work with colleges/seminaries to help students get internship credit
- All interns must attend summer staff training event May 22-24 at Camp Baldwin in Elberta, Alabama
Salary : $25 - $300
