Receiving / Retail Associate (32675)

Job duties:

• Responsible for receiving, shipping, counting and tagging inventory
• Maintains in depth knowledge of receiving software with the ability to self-serve and help team mates who have questions
• Stocks inventory
• Keeps receiving area tidy to reduce hazards in the work place
• Ability to operate forklift equipment, manual pallet jacks and push carts to and from destination
• Works cross functionally with office staff to handle any receiving discrepancies
• Processes damaged items
• Unloads trucks
• Ability to transition into retail store during peak season to assist with customer service and plant care.
• Performs all other duties as assigned
• This is a seasonal position.

• Fork Lift experience or willingness to be trained
• Retail experience is a plus
• Plant knowledge is a plus
• Strong computer skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong problem solving ability
• Willingness to learn
• Must come to work with a positive attitude and work as a team player
• Flexibility and adaptability to work weekdays, evenings and weekends with overtime during peak seasons.

Physical Demands

This job requires the ability to work standing, walking, bending, and lifting 50 lbs. continuously throughout the day.

Work Environment

This job can operate in a warehouse, indoor and outdoor retail space, and in an office environment as business requires.
