She/he reports to the Flow Manager. In the absence of the direct line manager, she/he reports to the Logistics Manager. 

1. REPLACEMENT

In the event of absence, she/he is replaced by another Manual Handler or any qualified employee appointed by her/his Manager. 

1. SKILLS PROFILE

Qualifications and Experience:

Literacy skills and numeracy proficiency in local language. 

Professional abilities: 

• Communication skills, literacy and numeracy skills, good understanding of field-related documentation, responsiveness, service culture, teamwork, organization skills and autonomy; 
• Basic computer knowledge would be an asset.

Technical knowledge:

Forklift proficiency certificate is an asset.

1. MAIN MISSIONS 

She/he is responsible for supplying workstations with raw materials, external supplies, packaging or parts. She/he is also entrusted with the collection and pick-up of finished and semi-finished parts, while ensuring their traceability.

Delivery Process

• Supply and clear the workstations and machines in compliance with the production planning;
• Ensure the continuity of the manufacturing process to prevent machine stops and report to her/his supervisor in case of disruption;
• Responsible for maintaining the parts’ quality during the handling and for the proper inspection and identification of products’ packaging;
• Ensure the traceability process by maintaining records;
• Maintains the workshop organized; 
• Contributes to the arrangement of the workshop (trash bins, waste containers…);
• May have to take part in the repackaging of products, depending on the organisation;
• May have to unload suppliers’ lorries, depending on the organisation;
• Ensure personal and colleagues’ safety; 
• Maintain her/his workstation clean and tidy;
• May have to contribute in the induction of a new member at her/his workstation;
• May have to replace a machine operator, depending on the organization;

Must apply all AKWEL Management System procedures and operating instructions within the framework of operations linked to his job and the rules defined by the Group.

Agrees to act in accordance with the ethical rules of the Group.

1. INTERNAL AND/OR EXTERNAL RELATIONS

On the internal level, she/he works closely with the following units: Quality, Engineering, Production Maintenance, Health, Safety & Quality…

On the external level, she/he may deal with delivery people.

1. ACCREDITATION

Depending on the organization, she/he must hold a forklift and/or overhead crane operation qualification 

and have access to SAP.
