Job Summary
Akron Home Care is currently hiring reliable Home Health Aides / Caregivers to provide in-home care to clients in the [44304/ Akron, OH] and surrounding suburbs.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES DRIVING. Applicants MUST have a reliable vehicle.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide personal care services such as catheter care, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring.
- Observe and report changes in clients' conditions to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Support clients with mobility assistance using equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Follow the care plan and maintain accurate visit records.
Requirements
- MUST have a reliable car and be willing to drive between clients
- Home Health Aide, STNA, or 1 year caregiving experience
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable, professional, and compassionate
- Prior home care or facility experience is preferred but not required
