Wholesale Planner
The Wholesale Planner is responsible for supporting the success of the wholesale business along with Akris punto Elements, Akris Architectural and Core product offerings through partnership with internal and external stakeholders. This role supports seasonal buying, develops financial plans, manages inventory, and provides analysis that guides business decisions.
Act as brand ambassador consistently upholding core values and communicating key messages of the house. Consistently manage “People, Product, and Placement”.
Key Responsibilities
Business Planning & Forecasting
- Develop seasonal and annual financial plans, including sales plan, receipts, and inventory targets.
- Create and maintain rolling forecasts that incorporate sales trends, bookings, and order adjustments.
- Partner with Sales leadership to analyze business performance and identify opportunities for growth.
Wholesale Account Management
- Supports the businesses by preparing weekly and monthly performance recaps.
- Analyze client-specific trends and make recommendations to maximize sell-through and profitability.
- Collaborate with account executives to review assortments, replenishment strategies, and in-season adjustments.
Inventory & Sales Analysis
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure the right balance of stock, minimizing overstocks and mitigating shortages.
- Manage replenishment, allocation, and reorders to optimize performance by door and channel.
- Track SKU-level performance and provide actionable insights for merchandising and sales teams.
Seasonal Market Preparation
- Partner with SVP & Director of Sales to prepare for market: historical recaps, category insights, and style-level analysis.
- Build seasonal selling tools including assortment recommendations, volume drivers, and quantification strategies.
- Develop class plan to support and guide the sales team in building strong well-balanced assortments.
Reporting & Tools
- Maintain weekly, monthly, and seasonal reporting.
- Produce dashboards and analytics to support decision-making across Merchandising, Sales, and Planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Provide feedback on category performance and future assortment needs.
- Collaborate with HQ finance on end of season reconciliation, shipping forecasts, budgeting.
- Collaborate with Deputy Head of Sales Administration for PE, AA and Core product overstock production forecasts.

Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
