JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a seasoned Agile Technical Program Manager to lead complex software engineering projects within our Business Operations organization. This role involves hands-on management using Agile and Scrum methodologies, collaborating with cross-functional technical teams to deliver innovative business solutions. The ideal candidate will excel in driving project execution from initiation through closure, demonstrating strong leadership, project management expertise, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and ensure the delivery of multiple technical projects from start to finish using a blend of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Effectively manage team dynamics, encouraging a positive work environment that respects diverse viewpoints.
- Utilize industry-standard tools like JIRA and Confluence for project management while keeping stakeholders informed through precise communication and updates.
- Proactively identify project risks, developing and communicating mitigation strategies to avoid potential roadblocks.
- Manage complex project plans with numerous dependencies, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
Must-Have Skills:
- Have 7 years of technical project management experience working directly with engineers.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies developing software applications, playing the role of scrum lead.
- BA/BS or equivalent experience required.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with the software development lifecycle.
- Experience in technical project management within the software development lifecycle is essential.
- CSM / CSP Certification preferred.
- Experience in streaming media software and digital technology.
- Experience with backend systems, machine learning, and personalization a plus.
- Have some technical proficiency demonstrated in any number of ways, ex. coding skills, quality assurance experience or technical writing background or similar.
